Vintage "new" Gillette Tech 3 Piece De Safety Razor

Vintage Gillette Double Edge Safety Razor. Early "New" Tech, silver 3 piece. Marked "Reg US Pat Off, Gillette Logo, Made in USA". Inside marked "Pat Nos On Pkg". Approximately 3-1/4" overall length. Circa 1938-41. Condition: Scuffs, scratches, tarnish and minor plate loss overall. No handle cracks. Top plate is brass, you can see the brass where there is plate loss along the edges. Not sure what the story is with the unusual handle, I could not find a comparable. I am basing date on the triangular slots in the bottom plate. Decent little razor with a handle mystery to solve!
